Pari Group traces its roots 250 years back to the Punjab of the United India. What began as a small rice stall then has flourished into a behemoth Rice Group. Henceforth the evident choice for the Sachdeva family to set up their base post partition was Amritsar, which is known as the food capital of modern day India.

Shri Hari Chand and Shri Ganga Ram Sachdeva laid the foundation of the legacy Pari Group and with their grit, determination and vision we today stand amongst the largest rice exporters in the world. It was Shri Chaman Lal Sachdeva who conceived the brand name Pari and was the one of the first few to venture into rice exports from India.

Pari Group is one of the largest rice exporters from India with its collection centers and procurement offices spread across key markets in India and Abroad.

What is Basmati Rice

Basmati rice is a popular not only for its flavour, but for its fragrance. It is remarkably long for being categorized as a rice and becomes even longer still when cooked. It can be either brown or white with the brown variety having more flavor. When cooked, this rice becomes lighter and more fluffy than standard white rice, and does not stick together.

The white basmati has four varieties for all types namely Super, Select, Rozana, and Classic from everyday basmati rice to rice for special occassion and events.

We have been continuously upgrading the vast knowledge capital and technology to keep in tunes with the ever growing and demanding market needs at the global level.

Our Rice Mills are at the heart of basmati growing areas of North india which is spread over an area of 35 Acres. These plants are equipped with state of the art machinery sourced from Buhler of Germany, Japan, England and Cimbria of Denmark. The state of the art facilities that are installed at these integrated plants include drying parboiling, milling, grading and sorting facilities with environment friendly storage and automated packaging units.

We are the first ones to introduce IT enabled systems and constantly upgrading and adopting latest and best business practices. For faster business processing accurate and timely reports and proper traceability to the customer and ERP system is in place and all stages of business process are well documented.

Our future expansion plans comprise of investment in infrastructure automation and modernization, which include setting up new grading and sorting units, setting up an in-house captive power plant, installing better fumigation systems and increasing storage facilities, to name a few. We are also planning to set up a full fledged facility for organic products for overseas and domestic markets.

Quality Assurance

Pari Foods (P) Ltd. is one of the few rice companies to have in-house laboratories to check and re-check through systematic examination of quality of paddy and rice so that the end products is of the highest quality.

Our physical laboratory is also equipped with quality check of samples the incoming material the material in process and the outgoing material.

The microbiology laboratories are efficient in identifying and isolation of germs bacteria and micro fungi coupled with micro-organisms.
